Halsey Claims To Have Received Bad Treatment From A Music Executive
JAKARTA - Ashley Nicolette Frangipane alias Halsey expressed the bad treatment she received from a music executive she called very powerful. Her nude photos were accessed by the person without permission.
Halsey explained that the incident occurred several years ago when he was out with the executive and two male managers.
"I mean, I think it's been a long time, but I'm out with an executive, like a very powerful executive who works in the field of music in certain capacities. It's just a celebration, and there's a lot of talk about the industry," Halsey said as a guest on the latest episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast.
"I don't feel strange at all about it. I've never felt insecure or anything," he continued.
Halsey explained that the two male managers had taken photos with the executive and asked to send them, so he could send them to his nephew.
They handed the cellphone to him and ordered him to send it to himself because they had to go to the bathroom.

"I saw him checking my nude photos in my neck," Halsey said, who admitted he was very surprised when the incident occurred.
"I'm just fixated. I don't even know what to do. I was like, 'Did I just imagine it? Was it accidental?'," he continued.
"I thought, 'Has the phone rolled up? What just happened?' I was like, 'did he send the message to himself and then delete those messages? I don't even know where the messages are now?'
Halsey said the incident made him question his own pride.
"And when that happened, at the time, I was like, 'You're nothing. You're nothing. You're always going to be nothing. You're still just an annoying girl being used, or like a guy talking to you in your back, or you're kind of a gun. I'm like, 'You're nothing.' It really weakens my spirits.'
The You Should Be Sad' singer admitted that there were several bad incidents experienced while in the music industry, but the incident made an impression because it had weakened his life spirit.
Halsey also reflected on the dynamics of power in the music industry and said, "I'm in this exclusive space, thinking I've reached the rankings where I'm protected, and then this invasive thing just happened," he said.
