Mozilla Launches Thunderbird App For Android Devices

JAKARTA In early October, Mozilla launched the Thunderbird app for Android devices in beta. Now, the Firefox developer has officially launched its email platform in the form of a mobile app.

Mozilla said that Thunderbird's launch on Android devices was indeed longer than they expected. There were many challenges the company had to face until they finally managed to launch Thunderbird on October 30.

"This journey took a little longer than we thought before and there are a lot of things to learn during the process, but the wait is finally over," Mozilla said via its official website.

Thunderbird can be downloaded via the Google Play Store, GitHub, or the official Thunderbird website. Users can move information from the desktop version of the K-9 or Thunderbird via an Export settings available in the application.

Before downloading, make sure that the device used has run the Android 5 and above version. To get the latest various information about the Android version of Thunderbird, users can access the Mozilla Support forum (SUMO).

"Threebird for Android is growing rapidly thanks to community support, and you can be a part of the community! We thank everyone who donated their skills and time to answer support questions, test releases, translate, and more," Mozilla said.
