Circulating Drugs, Police Officers In Batam Arrested At The Balerang Police Dormitory

A police officer who served at the Barelang Police Station, Batam, Riau Islands was arrested by the Barelang Police Narcotics Unit for distributing methamphetamine.

The suspect, Police Brigadier Adi Kurnia, a member of the Sekupang Police, Batam City, was arrested at the Barelang Police dormitory. The location of the suspect's arrest is only 10 meters from the Barelang Police Narcotics Unit office.

The Narcotics Unit officers secured 26 grams of methamphetamine ready for distribution, suction devices, and digital scales. From the examination, the suspect received goods from the convict with the initials E, who is a former member of the police, who is currently serving a sentence at Tanjungpinang Prison," said Head of Narcotics Unit of the Barelang Police, AKP Deni Langie, last Thursday.

The suspect received 50 grams of crystal methamphetamine and has sold 24 grams to TF and WF who are currently on the wanted list (DPO).

"We also arrested Aditia Kelana, a civilian who was ordered by the police suspect," concluded Deni.
