Early November, Most Cities In The Country Will Be Rained
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts rainy weather will flush the majority of major cities in Indonesia on Friday, November 1.
BMKG forecaster Pramudhian Firdaus explained that thick cloudy weather is predicted to occur in Banda Aceh, while light rain is predicted to occur in Medan, Tanjung Pinang, and Pekanbaru, as well as rain accompanied by lightning is predicted to occur in Padang.
"Furthermore, Jambi and Bengkulu cities are predicted to experience light rain, then they need to be aware of rain accompanied by lightning for Pangkal Pinang, Palembang, and Bandar Lampung cities," Firdaus said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday 1 November
On the island of Java, Pramudhian said that in general light rain is predicted to occur in DKI Jakarta, Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya, while rain with moderate intensity is forecast in Serang City, rain accompanied by lightning in Bandung City.
"Furthermore, Mataram City is predicted to experience rain with moderate intensity, then it is necessary to watch out for rain accompanied by lightning in Denpasar and Kupang cities," he said.
On the island of Kalimantan, Pramudhian continued to rain with light intensity predicted to occur in Tanjung Selor, Samarinda, and Banjarmasin, while rain accompanied by lightning is predicted to occur in Pontianak and Palangkaraya.
Furthermore, in the Sulawesi region, he continued, foggy weather is predicted to occur in Palu, thick clouds are predicted to occur in Kendari and Gorontalo, while light rain is predicted to flush Makassar, Mamuju, and Manado.
Meanwhile, in eastern Indonesia, Pramudhian explained, light rain is predicted to flush Ambon, Sorong, Nabire, Manokwari, Jayapura, and Jayawijaya.
"For Merauke City, it is predicted that moderate intensity rain will occur, then it is necessary to watch out for Ternate City where rain will occur accompanied by lightning," he explained.
