PHR Finds 2 Oil And Gas Wells In Rokan WK Through Data Digitization
PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR) found two reservoirs/primary oil and gas wells (oil and gas), a big hitter, in two Rokan Working Areas (WK) fields, each Pinang #68 of 1,020 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and Pudu#23 wells of 967 BOPD.
"This achievement is the result of PHR's efforts to optimize the potential of old fields in Rokan WK through digitizing well data and innovations tailored to the character of reservoirs in their respective fields," said PHR UPstream Business EVP Andre Wijanarko, reported by ANTARA, Thursday, October 31.
According to Andre, his party believes that the production from this field is able to open up new opportunities among the primary fields operated by PHR.
This achievement figure, he said again, is important considering that the two fields have a tendency for geological character reservoirs with minimal productivity levels.
"In the Pinang area, for example, the field located at the far north of the Rokan Block, the average well produces around 50 BOPD," he also said.
He explained that this effort to use digitalization technology, all field well data is analyzed using the Artificial Intelligence (AI)/artificial Intelligence-based numerical method called i-PADI (Integrated Precision Automated Drilling Infill), which is also replicated in several other wells.
Head of SKK Migas Representative for the Sumbagut Region, Rikky Rahmat Firdaus, said that in the future there are still several other wells that are currently in the flow test stage by the PHR team.
At least nine production wells at Pudu Field and one production well at Pinang Square.
"We are still waiting for the report gradually until the end of the year or early 2025," said Rikky.
