Menpora U-12 Cup Top Score Wants To Strengthen The Indonesian National Team
JAKARTA Muhammad Rayyan Taqi, the top scorer and best player in the 2024 Indonesian Children's League U-12 Menpora Cup, aspires to strengthen the Indonesian national team.
Rayyan scored a total of 12 goals in the competition to help his team come out as champions at the Gelora 10 November Stadium, Surabaya, East Java, on Saturday, August 31, 2024.
Rayyan admitted that he did not expect him to bring home this achievement to complete his ASSA Pro Bekasi team title representing the Jakarta area.
"I didn't expect it. When I found out I was the best player and top score, I felt happy. It was really amazing, really, I could get the top score and the best player," he said.
Five of the total goals scored by Rayyan occurred in the final against Sejahtera and Barokah Martapura (SBM). In that match, ASSA Pro won with a landslide score of 6-1 to bring home the title.

The 12-year-old admits that his success cannot be separated from the routine training he does and follows the coach's instructions such as maintaining a diet and sleep pattern.
"Indeed, support from family and coaches is very important. Don't forget to work hard and keep your worship," he said.
Rayyan is in football because of his father's background who is a coach. This is what makes him attached to the round skin even since he was five years old.
His achievements in this event made Rayyan even more solidified to continue to do football so that he could become a player in the Indonesian national team.
"Hopefully the Indonesian League will be better and routinely organized. Make other friends don't give up and keep trying," said Rayyan.
