The Menpora U-12 Indonesian Children's League Cup Is Expected To Continue

JAKARTA The national series of the U-12 Indonesian League Menpora Cup as a candidate for national team players in the future is expected to roll back.

This year's Menpora U-12 Indonesian Children's League Cup has just been successfully held at the Gelora 10 November Stadium, Surabaya, East Java. The event took place from Thursday, August 29 to Saturday, August 31, 2024.

Coach Didik Darmadi, who brought the ASSA Pro Bekasi team out as champions, assessed that this competition was very important for the younger generation to show off so that it needed to be carried out continuously.

"This is a place and crater for the children's surface to go to the Indonesian national team later. Here will be great players and reliable Indonesian national team players," said Didik.

Responding to this wish, Deputy Secretary (Sesdep) Deputy 3 for Sports Empowerment, Aris Subiyono, stated that he would continue to roll out this tournament in the following years.

"We have heard the hopes of Indonesian children. They hope that for next year, the Menpora U-12 Indonesian Children's League Cup can be held," he said.

The Menpora U-12 Indonesian League 2024 Cup was attended by 16 of the best teams from all over Indonesia. They got tickets after passing the tight selection at the regional level.

ASSA Pro Bekasi came out as champions after defeating Sejahtera and Barokah Martapura 6-1 in the final round. The result earned ASSA Pro a prize coaching money of Rp. 25 million.

The 2024 Indonesian Children's League U-12 Menpora Cup was held by the Ministry of Youth and Sports through the Assistant Deputy for Educational Sports (Ordik) in Deputy 3 for Sports Empowerment.
