Google Is No Longer Selling Pixel 3 And Pixel XL

JAKARTA - Google has officially ended sales of the Pixel 3 and 3 XL smartphones. Because Google is preparing to produce the latest variant of the Pixel series.

Launching the GSM Arena, Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are no longer available on the Google Store online store. Just like its predecessor variants, Google provides a market opportunity for the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4a series which will be released next.

In fact, the age of Pixel 3 has only been running for a year and five months since its release in October 2018. The timings for the termination of this smartphone sales also follow its predecessor series, namely the Pixel 2 and 2 XL which were no longer sold on April 1, 2019.

According to a Google spokesperson, this is an opportunity for Pixel fans to be able to buy the latest variant of the product. Even though it is no longer sold, Google guarantees software support for Pixel 3 and 3 XL users until October 2021.

That means the Pixel 3 series will still get Android version 11 and possibly 12. Likewise for the Pixel 3a, which is likely to be replaced as an affordable phone for the Pixel 4a.

In short, the Pixel 3's performance is simply stunning. Not a few also praised the single shot of the Google Pixel 3 rear camera, because it produces detailed image saturation compared to cellphones with multiple cameras.

Its compact size with body dimensions of 5.5 inches makes this phone comfortable to hold. Moreover, Google's computerized capabilities have embedded the Snapdragon 845 chipset with octa-core 2.5GHz + 1.6GHz and the Adreno 630 graphics card, making multi-tasking of this cellphone fast.

As for the successor Pixel 4 series, it will use the Snapdragon 865 chipset and 5G network connectivity. For the affordable variant, the Pixel 4a will come using a Snapdragon 730 processor, with 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB storage.

The last draw from the billboard is the price, where it is stated that the Pixel 4a will sell for 399 US dollars, or around Rp. 5.8 million. This is the same price as the Pixel 3a when it was released a year ago.
