Latest October Survey Of The Bekasi Pilkada: The Tri Adhianto-Abdul Harris Pair Wins With 50.9 Percent
JAKARTA - The Millennial Community Research Institute (LPMM) released the latest survey results that measured the electability level of the three pairs of candidates in the election for the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Bekasi, West Java in the 2024 Pilkada.
As a result, Bekasi Mayor and Deputy Mayor, Tri Adhianto-Abdul Harris Bobihoe, showed a significant advantage with electability at 50.9 percent.
The Executive Director of LPMM, Alamsyah Wijaya explained, respondents were asked open and spontaneous questions regarding the candidate pair for Mayor and Deputy Mayor to be elected.
"The results show that the pair Tri Adhianto-Harris Bobihoe received support of 50.9 percent. Meanwhile, the Heri Koswara-Sholihin pair got 27.2 percent. Meanwhile, the Uu Saeful Mikdar-Nurul Sumarheni pair only got 2.1 percent. Meanwhile, 19.8 percent of respondents said they did not vote," explained Alamsyah in her statement, Thursday, October 31.
In a simulation that uses closed questions, the survey results further confirmed the position of Tri Adhianto-Harris Bobihoe by winning 54.4 percent of the respondents' votes. This acquisition further shows a considerable distance from the two challengers.
Meanwhile, the Heri Koswara-Sholihin pair garnered 31.6 percent of the votes, and the Uu Saeful Mikdar-Nurul Sumarheni pair only got 3.4 percent. Then 10.6 percent of respondents chose not to vote.
According to Alamsyah, the success of Tri Adhianto-Harris Bobihoe in winning votes above 50 percent shows a strong relationship with the level of popularity and preference of Bekasi City residents.
"Tri Adhianto, who currently serves as Deputy Mayor, is known and liked by more than 80 percent of respondents," said Alamsyah.
On the other hand, continued Alamsyah, Heri Koswara was only known by 39.2 percent of respondents and was liked by 33.1 percent. Meanwhile, Uu Saeful Mikdar was only known by 8.1 percent and liked by 6.2 percent of respondents.
Support for the pair Tri Adhianto-Harris Bobihoe also looks evenly distributed in various segments of the population of Bekasi City. Analysis based on gender, age, and education levels shows that this couple has a strong support base in all levels of society.
"For example, in the Gen Z voter segment, which amounted to 27.6 percent, the Tri Adhianto-Harris pair Bobihoe was chosen by 16.1 percent of respondents. Meanwhile, the Heri Koswara-Sholihin pair got 7.9 percent, and the Uu Saeful Mikdar-Nurul Sumarheni pair only 0.4 percent. Then as many as 3.2 percent of respondents did not vote," he explained.
Then in the Millennial respondents segment (born 1981-1996) which amounted to 27.7 percent, added Alamsyah, showed similar results. Where Tri Adhianto-Harris Bobihoe got 17.2 percent. Meanwhile, Heri Koswara-Sholihin got 7.3 percent, and Uu Saeful Mikdar-Nurul Sumarheni only 1.1 percent, and 2.1 percent of respondents did not vote.
In the Gen X segment (born 1965-1980), which amounted to 27.8 percent, Tri Adhianto-Harris Bobihoe was chosen by 12.8 percent of respondents. Meanwhile, the Heri Koswara-Sholihin pair got 11.2 percent. Meanwhile, the Uu Saeful Mikdar-Nurul Sumarheni pair was only 0.6 percent and the number of respondents who did not vote in this segment reached 3.2 percent.
"For the Pre-Boomer segment (born before 1945), which amounted to 16.9 percent, the results showed that Tri Adhianto-Harris Bobihoe received 8.3 percent support, Heri Koswara-Sholihin 5.2 percent, and Uu Saeful Mikdar-Nurul Sumarheni 1.3 percent, with 2.1 percent of respondents choosing not to vote," he concluded.
This survey was conducted in the period 13-20 October 2024 through face-to-face interviews involving 1,480 respondents from Bekasi City who had ID cards and settled in the city.

The survey method, namely Multistage Random Sampling with this sample, is spread proportionally based on the number of permanent voters (DPT) for the 2024 Bekasi City Pilkada.
The results of this survey have a margin of error of +/- 2.55 percent with a confidence level of 95 percent.
