Bogor Disaster Zone, Council Encourages Management Funds To Increase 3 Times In The 2025 APBD

BOGOR Chairman of Commission III of the Bogor City DPRD, Heri Cahyono, said that Commission III had recommended a three-fold increase in the disaster management budget, based on the results of the 2025 RAPBD discussion meeting with partners.

"We want to ensure that the budget allocation for urgent needs for the community can be tripled," said Heri on Wednesday, October 30.

Heri also emphasized that Commission III will provide strict guard against the physical work budget proposed by the Bogor City Government. According to him, the results of the inspection conducted by Commission III found that there were several developments that were not in accordance with the initial plan.

"Physical work must be consistent with the initial proposal. During the inspection, we found that there was a project that was originally proposed to be renovation, but in reality it was rebuilt. In the future, we will directly monitor all physical work in Bogor City," he said.

"With the existing conditions this year, we in Commission III recommend an increase in the disaster management budget to Rp1.2 billion," said Atty.

Furthermore, Atty explained that this additional budget will be used to meet the needs of disaster-affected communities, including food assistance, clothing, and other necessities.

"We hope that the APBD prepared will really benefit the community, especially for those who really need it," concluded Atty.
