The U-20 Indonesian National Team Will Undergo 5 Trials In Japan
JAKARTA The U-20 Indonesian national team is scheduled to undergo as many as five trial matches when holding a training camp in Japan next month.
The team made by coach Indra Sjafri will carry out the activity on 6-23 November 2024. They are currently being boosted in the training camp which will take place in Bali.
"The concept of the trial is with a strong team, a moderate team, and a weak team. It has been fulfilled," said Indra as quoted by Antara.
The training camp which will take place in Bali has started on October 27, 2024 and will end on November 3, 2024. A total of 33 players have been called up for this training camp, but only 30 of them will be brought to Japan later.
The Garuda Muda trial in Japan is planned to face clubs competing in second-class or J2 League competitions. In addition, there is also a plan against a team from the university.

Indra admitted that he gave freedom to the players who trained in Bali to enter and leave activities if needed by their club.
"Especially for children who play in League 1, we provide dispensation so that they can go in and out of training camps. You see, in our opinion, playing in the competition is much more important," he said.
This long series of activities carried out by Garuda Muda is preparation for the 2025 U-20 Asian Cup finals in China on 6-23 February 2025.
Tickets to the tournament were secured by Indonesia U-20 after topping the Group F standings in the qualifying round which took place at the Madya Stadium, Jakarta, in September 2024.
Garuda Muda passed three group matches with two wins and one draw. A total of seven points made Indonesia U-20 comfortable at the top of the group followed by Yemen U-20 in second place.
