Yamaha Nmax Turbo Caught Camera Testing Road In Malaysia, Will It Launch Soon?

JAKARTA - Since its global debut in Indonesia last June, Yamaha Nmax Turbo has received an extraordinary response from two-wheeled lovers in the country. Now, Nmax Turbo is rumored to be soon entering the Malaysian market, strengthening its position as a premium sticker in Southeast Asia.

This rumor is reinforced by the latest photo shared by Paultan, Wednesday, October 30, showing the latest generation Nmax Turbo conducting road tests on the North-South toll road, leading to Malaysia. Is this a sign that it will soon be launched in neighboring countries?

PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) has indeed planned the export of Nmax Turbo to various countries, according to the statement of the President Director of YIMM, Dyonisius Beti.

"This is the first successful model in Indonesia, and we hope to export it to other countries," said Dyonius when met some time ago.

So far, Nmax has been exported to several global markets, including Australia, America, Italy, Germany, and a number of ASEAN countries. Dyonnius added, "The current export includes Australia, ASEAN, America, Italy, and Germany."

Nmax Turbo comes with the innovative technology Yamaha Electric CVT (YECVT) which provides a driving experience like a hybrid motorcycle. Two driving modes, T-Mode for leisurely driving in the city, and S-Mode for sport-touring trips, also complement their advanced features.

Powered by the latest generation of Blue Core 155 cc VVA engines, Nmax Turbo is capable of generating a peak power of 11.3 kW at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 14.2 Nm at 6,500 rpm, offering impressive performance for the smoking in its class.

Regarding the price in Indonesia, the Neo Standard version of Nmax Turbo is priced at IDR 32.7 million, the S Version is IDR 33.7 million with the choice of colors Red, White, Black, and Dull Blue. Meanwhile, Nmax Turbo is sold for IDR 37,750,000 with a Magma Black color, and the Nmax Turbo Techmax version reaches IDR 43,250,000. All of this price applies on The Road (OTR) Jakarta.
