JAKARTA - Morris Garages (MG) Motor Indonesia took part in the 2024 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) event, which will take place from November 22 to December 1.

At the exhibition which took place at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, MG plans to present a surprise by introducing two new models.

This was stated directly by the Chief Operating Officer of MG Motor Indonesia, He Guowei. He revealed that two models would indeed be introduced.

"When GJAW later we may have two new models displayed," he said, when met in the Jakarta area, some time ago.

Unfortunately, He Guowei did not describe the entire model to be displayed, it's just that he revealed that both were only introduced or special units could not be ordered.

"Only displayed, later there will be MG3 too but it can't be ordered yet," he added.

MG3 itself was previously featured at the GIIAS 2024 event last July, this one model entered the hybrid hatchback segment and had already launched in Thailand.

In specifications, the car packs a 1,500 cc 4 cylinder engine combined with an electric motor and a 1.83 kwH battery. The power produced by the model reaches 102 hp.

Not only MG, several new brands from China also took part in the exhibition, including Aion Indonesia who were preparing to surprise.
