NTT Police: Rudy Soik Has Not Yet Received The Punishment For Ethical Violations
The Head of Public Relations of the NTT Police, Kombes Ariasady, said that the former Head of Bin Ops for Criminal Investigation at the Kupang City Police, Ipda Rudy Soik, had not yet undergone sanctions from the verdict of five cases of ethical violations.
"There are five cases of ethical violations that have not been sentenced by the person concerned," said Ariasandy as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 29.
This was conveyed by the Head of Public Relations regarding the results of the NTT Police Chief's hearing with Commission III of the DPR RI in Jakarta, Monday (28/10).
He explained that the five cases of violating the code of ethics that had not been carried out included the case of entering entertainment venues during service hours, Police Report: LP-A/49/VI/HUK.12.10./2024 with a demotion mutation decision for five years.
Second, the case of spreading slander in the police report number LP-A/50/VI/HUK.12.10./2024 with a written warning decision, a postponement of education for one year, and a release from office for one year.
Third, leaving the area of duty without permission, police report Number LP-A/55/VII/HUK.12.10./2024 l with a written warning decision and placement in a special place for 14 days.
Fourth, not holding apples, police reports Number LP-A/66/VIII/HUK.12.10./2024 with a written warning decision.
The fifth is unprofessional in handling investigations, police reports number LP-A/73/VIII/HUK.12.10./2024, with a violation of the code of ethics accompanied by a recommendation from PTDH (disrespectful dismissal).
Previously in a hearing with Commission III of the DPR, NTT Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Tahi Monang Silitonga stated that the Code of Ethics Commission had decided PTDH against Ipda Rudy Soik.
Based on Government Regulation Number 2 of 2003, members of the National Police who are sentenced to disciplinary penalties more than three times can be dismissed through a code of ethics trial.
"There are still 30 days to consider the decision, whether to strengthen or release, I will appoint a competent official as the appeal commission for the appeal hearing process," explained the Kapolda.
The Kapolda also said that in the appeal hearing, the appointed appeal commission would have 30 days to study the memorandum of appeal submitted.
