Illegal Fuel Cases To The Dismissal Of Ipda Rudy Soik, National Police Chief Needs To Form A Special Team

JAKARTA - The chairman of the Indonesia Police Watch (IPW) asked the National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo formed a special team to investigate the illegal fuel case in NTT whose case caused a polemic related to the dismissal of Ipda Rudy Soik.

"Indonesia Police Watch asked the National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo to firmly resolve the case of illegal fuel in NTT by forming a special team from the National Police Propam and Itwasum Polri," said Sugeng, in his statement, Tuesday, October 29. Sugeng said that the decline in the special team would clarify who was playing behind the illegal fuel case in NTT.

"If Ipda Rudy Soik is involved in it, dishonorable dismissal (PTDH) of him can be done. However, if there are other elements who play, they must be fired," he said.

That way, he continued, the NTT Police would be free from the game of illegal fuel cases and public trust in the Police would increase.

In addition, he said that Commission III of the DPR RI also needed to form a special committee (special committee) to investigate the case.

"If a member of the council in Commission III of the DPR RI goes down and forms a special committee, this will prove that members of the council support the program of President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo who will eradicate leaks, especially fuel in NTT," he said.

It is known that the former Head of Bin Ops (KBO) Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kupang City Police, Ipda Rudy Soik, was involved in the disclosure of the alleged BBM mafia case which allegedly involved a number of influential parties in NTT.

This case began when Rudy identified the illegal fuel mafia network operating in the area. However, he was instead sentenced to dismissal or PTDH by the NTT Police.

Rudy's dismissal sparked controversy with a number of parties questioning the reasons behind the decision.

Meanwhile, the NTT Police stated that Rudy was fired for violating the professional code of ethics in an investigation into alleged misuse of fuel.

The violation of discipline and violation of the police professional code of ethics that ensnared Rudy Soik included several other cases such as defamation of members of the National Police, leaving their place of duty without permission, and unprofessionalism in the subsidized fuel investigation.
