The incident took place on Pulau Kawe Street at the Satelit junction, West Denpasar on Monday, April 5 morning.
At that time, the victim passed by and there was a misunderstanding with the perpetrator. The perpetrator then hit the victim to the right temple.
The victim fell in the middle of the road and was dragged by the perpetrator. The victim suffered bruises on his right eyebrow, abrasions on the back of his hands, and abrasions on the heel of his left foot. The victim immediately reported it to the West Denpasar Police.
"As a result of the incident, the victim suffered bruises on his right eyebrow, abrasions on the back of his hands, and abrasions on the heel of his left foot", he added.
From the victim's report, the police searched for the perpetrator and arrested him on Gunung Lebah Gang V Street, Denpasar.
The persecution, according to the police, began when the victim overtook the perpetrator while driving. The perpetrator did not accept it until a quarrel occurred and led to persecution.
From the interrogation, the perpetrator denied hitting the victim. The perpetrators said they only pushed each other.
"(The motive was) reprimanding each other, the victim stopped and got off the motorbike and the perpetrator thought he wanted to be challenged", said AKP Yaqin.
