Indonesia International Challenge 2024: Red-White 3 Titles!
JAKARTA Indonesia memastikan diri mendapatkan tiga gelar di ajang Indonesia International Challenge 2024 dari total lima wakil yang bermain dalam laga puncak kompetisi.
The series of final matches from the tournament were completed on Sunday, October 27 yesterday, at East Java EXPO, Surabaya, East Java.
The three titles were obtained by the Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha mixed doubles, Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu, women's doubles Lanny Tria Mayasari/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhani, and the men's doubles pair Rahmat Hidayat/Yeremia Rambitan.
Jafar/Felisha became the first representative to secure the title. This pair came out as champions after winning over their compatriot, Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah.
This is Jafar/Felisah's second win out of a total of three competitive clashes with their colleague. The only defeat in that period occurred in Malaysia International Challenge 2024 in September.

The second title was secured by Lanny/Fadia. The pair won the title after beating the first seed from Chinese Taipei, Hsieh Pei Shan/Hung En-Tzu.
This is Lanny/Fadia's debut tournament as a couple. They have just been reshuffled to composition now after previously each paired with Rachel Alllessya Rose and Apriyani Rahayu.
Lanny previously partnered with Rachel and played their final event at Taipei Open 2024, while Fadia and Apri last performed together at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The Indonesian celebration was then closed by the first seed Rahmat / Yeremia. This double was on the highest podium after successfully beating the representative of Chinese Taipei, Lu Ching Yao / Wu Guan Xun.
This is the second title for Rahmat/Yeremia this year since it was paired. They secured one other title when they appeared in the Sri Lanka International Challenge 2024.
Meanwhile, another Indonesian representative who was able to penetrate the tournament final, but failed to win was the women's singles Mutiara Ayu Puspitasari.
The 18-year-old badminton player from Ngawi and eighth seed had to bury his dream after losing to Thailand's singles, Yataweemin Ketklieng.
