Israel Uses Fosfor Bombs In Air Strikes In South Lebanon

ISTANBUL - Israeli troops on Saturday 26 October deployed phosphorus bombs to a number of villages in Nagatiyeh, southern Lebanon, accompanied by airstrikes on villages in Tyre that sparked fires.

Lebanese national news agencies reported Israeli airstrikes targeting a number of areas around Al-Ayshiyeh, Sajd, and Jermak villages, in Jezzine districts located in the South Kegubernuran. An attack in the Qatrani area triggered power outages in several cities and fires in the forest area of Joura Khadr, "said the news agency as reported by ANTARA, Sunday, October 27.

In Marjayoun, Nabatiyeh's governorship, Israeli airstrikes hit Adaissah and the Taybeh outskirts.

In Hasbaya, artillery fire with phosphorus ammunition targeted the area around Halta and Wadi Khansa. While one air strike also hit East Zoutr in Nabatiyeh.

Israeli forces are also targeting a bulldozer who is clearing the road in Rashknaniya, although there were no injuries.

Israel has stepped up massive airstrikes in Lebanon since last month against Hezbollah.

After more than 1 year of destroying Gaza, Israel killed nearly 43,000 people and injured 100,000 others, according to an official Palestinian Health Authority calculation.
