DKI KPU: Last Day Of Transferring Votes On October 28
JAKARTA - The Jakarta General Election Commission (DKI) reminded Jakarta residents that the last day they took care of moving to vote in the election for governor and deputy governor of DKI Jakarta on October 28, 2024 or two days from this Saturday.
Head of the DKI Jakarta KPU Data and Information Division, Fahmi Ziryptah, said that the management of the transfer could be carried out at the office of the District Election Committee (PPK), the Voting Committee (PPS), or the district/city KPU of the region of origin and destination.
"The management moved by bringing the e-KTP and supporting documents for the reason for moving to vote," he said, quoting Antara.
Furthermore, officers will map out polling stations (TPS) around destinations and voters will later be included in the additional voter list or DPTb. Later, voters will get proof of the A-Muture Voter form.
The reason voters can take care of moving votes is because they carry out their duties elsewhere during voting, undergoing hospitalization or assisting inpatients, people with disabilities who are treated in social institutions or rehabilitation centers.
Another reason is undergoing drug rehabilitation, being a detention center or prison and being convicted, studying or pursuing secondary or higher education, moving domicile, working outside the domicile, and being hit by natural disasters.

Voting in the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) will take place on November 27, 2024. Voting in Jakarta is held at 14,835 polling stations that have been determined by the DKI KPU.
Residents can check the location of the DKI Jakarta Pilkada TPS in 2024 online through the cendptonline.kpu.go.id page. The DKI KPU set a permanent voter list (DPT) for the 2024 Pilkada as many as 8,214,007 voters.
The 2024 DKI Jakarta Pilkada was followed by candidate pair (paslon) governor and deputy governor number 1 Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO), candidate pair number 2 Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana (Dharma-Kun) and candidate pair number 3 Pramono Anung-Rano Karno (Pram-Doel).
