'Decree' Case At The Supreme Court, Zarof Ricar Receives Nearly IDR 1 Trillion In Money And 51 Kilograms Of Gold
The Attorney General's Office (AGO) said that the suspect Zarof Ricar often received gratuities related to the case'management' at the Supreme Court (MA). The value is almost Rp. 1 trillion.
"Brother ZR when he was the Head of the Education and Training Center, which I said earlier, received gratification in the management of cases in the Supreme Court," said the Director of Investigation at the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampis) at the AGO, Abdul Qohar, to reporters, Friday, October 25.
The amount of gratuities received by the suspect Zarof Ricar was based on the evidence confiscated by investigators at his residence in the Senayan area, South Jakarta and at lodging in the Bali area.
Some of them are money with various currency denominations and tens of kilograms of gold.
"As we can see in front of this, all of which are converted into rupiah in the amount of Rp920,912,303,714 and 51 kilograms of gold bullion," he said.
The confiscated evidence included 74,494,427 Singapore dollars, 1,897,362 United States (US) dollars, 71,200 Euros, 483,320 Hong Kong dollars, and Rp5,725,075,000.
Then, investigators also confiscated a total of 46.9 kilograms of gold precious metal. Then, 12 pieces of precious metal gold, one piece is 50 grams.

Meanwhile, for a search at the Lemeredian Bali hotel, investigators confiscated Rp10 million in cash with Rp100 thousand denominations and Rp50 thousand denominations worth Rp4.9 million.
Then, 52 pieces of Rp100 thousand denomination and Rp 5000 denominations totaling Rp1,925,000.
"The opportunity was also confiscated of several electronic items in the form of cellphones belonging to the suspect ZR," said Qohar.
Zarof Ricar was arrested by AGO investigators in Bali on Thursday, October 24, 2024. The arrest was made because he was involved in a series of bribery cases for Ronald Tannur's acquittal.
The suspect Zarof Ricar has an evil consensus with Lisa Rahmat as Ronald Tannur's lawyer to bribe three Supreme Court justices worth IDR 5 billion.
In this case, Zarof Ricar was charged with Article 5 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 15 in conjunction with Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 of 2021 concerning the eradication of criminal acts of corruption.
Then, Article 12B in conjunction with Article 18 of Law 1999 concerning the eradication of criminal acts of corruption as amended by Law number 20 of 2001.
