JAKARTA - Sony Pictures is the latest production house to postpone the screening of their films. Not just one or two films but all projects that will be showing this year have been postponed. Among them are Morbius, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and Peter Rabbit 2.

The corona virus pandemic is still the cause of this production house to decide on the postponement. This step was taken after it was not certain when the cinema would resume operating. As many as 180 thousand cases occurred in the United States, so there is no certainty when entertainment facilities can be enjoyed again.

Greyhound, the film starring Tom Hanks was postponed until June 12, 2020. Moreover, Tom Hanks as the main star also tested positive for the corona virus while pre-producing the biopic Elvis. Currently, he is still undergoing treatment in Australia.

Fatherhood, which was produced by Kevin Hart, has moved on to January 15, 2021. Meanwhile, Peter Rabbit's sequel, Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, has also been pushed back to the same date. Likewise with the Ghostbusters sequel, Ghostbusters: Afterlife which originally aired on August 10, 2020 to March 5, 2021.

Meanwhile, the film, which is a collaboration between Sony and Marvel, Morbius, will air on March 19, 2021. The film, starring Jared Leto, is one of the most eagerly awaited films for fans.
