Tiket.com Spreads Promo Trips Ahead Of Ramadan
JAKARTA - Several tourism sector business actors such as Tiket.com maintain optimism in facing conditions that are predicted to be still a pandemic during the upcoming Lebaran holiday, among others by holding a campaign entitled "Sudden OTW (Online Ticket Week)".
"We are excited to be able to grab the public again by presenting a grand national tourism discount party with the name 'Sudden OTW'," said Tiket.com Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Gaery Undarsa, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, April 7.
He explained the campaign aimed to help boost the popularity of domestic tourist destinations in the context of restoring the national tourism industry.
Through a campaign that was held on April 5-11, his party invited various groups of people to immediately take advantage of the promo ranks.
According to him, this campaign is expected to be able to invite people to plan their holidays more carefully.
"Sudden discounts are allowed, but vacation plans should be planned more carefully", he said.
Tiket.com, still according to him, has also prepared several relevant features to accommodate customer needs when traveling during a pandemic so that customers can plan a vacation safely and comfortably.
Previously, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno reminded the managers of tourist objects to remain disciplined in maintaining health protocols to prevent transmission of COVID-19.
"I remind you that health protocols must be strictly and disciplined", he said while visiting a tourist attraction in Butuh Hamlet, Temanggung Village, Kaliangkrik District, known as Nepal van Java in Magelang, Saturday, April 3.
The Minister said not to be careless with health protocols, and there should not be clusters of tourist sites because tourism activities are considered to be a solution not a problem in the midst of a pandemic.
Regarding the ban on homecoming before Eid, Sandi explained that this was a government decision that had to be supported.
