Ahead Of Inter Vs Sassuolo: Antonio Conte Is Ready To Extend His Contract, His Salary Rises To € 13.5 million

JAKARTA - Inter Milan will host Sassuolo in the 29th week of the Serie A competition, Wednesday, April 7 evening. Before the match, the Nerazzurri had some good news. Coach Antonio Conte is ready to extend his tenure at San Siro.

Nerazzurri are currently firmly at the top of the Serie A standings with eight points adrift of closest stalker AC Milan who are second. Inter also saved one more game.

They are on the verge of winning Serie A for the first time since 2010 and at the same time on the verge of ending Juventus' dominance in the Italian League.

The former Chelsea and Juventus boss's contract will expire in June 2022, but according to Gazzetta.it, Inter are determined to offer their coach a new contract.

Conte is still under a contract worth  12 million (IDR 206 billion) per year with Inter and reportedly the salary he will get will automatically increase to  13.5 million (IDR 231.9 billion) starting this summer.

However, Inter will sit down at the same table with his coach to negotiate a contract extension at the end of this season.

The Nerazzurri will also discuss the future of ten players and look to sign a new striker.

Conte's future target is to succeed in the Champions League after the team has been eliminated from the group stage in the last two seasons.
