NTT Disaster Latest Data: 117 People Died, Missing, 76 People
JAKARTA - The number of victims who died due to floods and landslides in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) reached 117 people. 76 people were reported missing.
"Overall, 117 people were found, while 76 people were missing. This is the last data we have collected, ”said Head of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) Doni Monardo in a virtual press conference via Zoom, Tuesday, April 6.
According to Doni Monardo, the search for the missing victim is still hampered by heavy equipment. Because heavy equipment cannot be sent to Adonara and Alor Regencies.
"Meanwhile, in Lembata, a number of companies working on road works are still trying to be moved, mobilized to their target location," continued Doni.
Meanwhile, the data on the number of refugees, according to Doni, is still fluctuating. Data is still being compiled from a number of districts affected by floods and landslides.
"In accordance with the direction of the president, for refugees, we happen to be facing COVID so we will do our best to reduce the risk by providing residential waiting funds for affected residents to be able to rent the house of the closest family of Rp. 500 thousand / month," continued Doni.

1. East Flores
- 60 people died
- 12 people missing
2. Alor
- The victim died 21 people
- 20 people missing
3. Malacca
- 3 people died
- There's nothing missing
4. Kota Kupang and Kabupaten Kupang
- One person each died.
5. Lembata
- The victim died 28 people
- 44 people missing
6. Ende
- The victim died 1 person
