BMW Astra Releases Short Film Theme Of Racing, There Is A Series-3 Of The ISOM Championship
JAKARTA - BMW Astra has re-released a documentary film in collaboration with BAFilms with the title Love, Race Cars, & Death with the theme of racing.
BMW Astra Chief Executive Sanfrantis Tanu, said that this is the first racing-themed short film for BMW Astra after several times releasing sequels to films and documentaries since 2019.
"The short film Love, Race cars, & Death this time is the first racing-themed BMW Astra film that not only presents racing at the circuit but there are many messages in it," Sanfrantis said in his remarks at CGV Grand Indonesia, Jakarta, Wednesday, October 23.
In addition to highlighting the question of racing, this film conveys several touching messages, ranging from love, ambition, to grief that show the true nature of humans.
"Hopefully this work will be a memorable story in the hearts of the audience. We hope that through this short film we will always be with BMW customers and lovers in Indonesia," added Sanfrantis.

This film tells the story of a racer named Adit, played by Gilang Devialdi, who wants to be the best in the racing world, but experiences a number of inner turmoil that makes him fall.
In this short film, Adit drives the BMW Series-3 E36 used by BMW Team Astra in the Indonesia Sentul Series of Motorsport (ISSOM) national championship. In some scenes, this film shows BMW iX as one of its mobility.
This isn't the first time BMW Astra has released a documentary film or series. The official BMW dealer company has presented it since 2019 with the title For Us Story which is a collection of customers' success stories from the dealer.
Had stopped in 2020, they returned to work on a short film entitled Elipsis with the theme of family. Then, in 2022 the company released a mini series entitled Singkong Keju' about youth romance. Then last year, they released a documentary Searching for Indonesia' featuring two adventurous figures in several cities in the country.
This short 21-minute film has been released on Astra's BMW youtube channel as of today.
