Hyundai Will Launch Latest Avante Andaturation In 2026, Present In Hybrid And ICE Versions
JAKARTA - South Korean automotive manufacturer Hyundai plans to launch the next generation of the Avante andatured models which are scheduled to arrive in the first half of 2026.
This step was taken aimed at adapting to changes in market demand due to the global gap and uncertainty in demand for electric vehicles (EVs).
Launching ETNews, Wednesday, October 23, the next generation of Avante andmen is named the CN8 and NX5 projects. These codes represent the term internal development of each model, with numbers showing its generation, such as the 8th for Avante and the 5th foraturation.
It is reported that both of them will be developed as pure gasoline (ICE) and hybrid (HEV) models. Foriri, Hyundai plans to offer it in plug-in hybrid (PHEV) versions that can charge electricity for some markets.
These two new models are expected to have enhanced elements in terms of powertrain with increased efficiency and driving dynamics.
In addition, both Avante andLAy have different exterior and interior designs than before. Then, the manufacturer plans to provide both with advanced security and comfort technology.
Given that the manufacturer updated its models ranging from 57 years, Avante and her next generation have the possibility to sell for at least 2031 or no later than 2033.
By maintaining the gasoline engine in these two models, Hyundai adjusted its transition to electric vehicles by extending the lifespan of internal combustion vehicles (ICE) until after 2030.
The decision is also in line with the prolonged EV gap and the global movement to loosen environmental regulations, including in the European Union (EU).
The EU initially planned to implement Euro 7, strict emission regulations that would have a significant impact on ICE vehicles. However, given the automotive industry's concerns about the potential economic impact, the EU decided to maintain emission standards at the Euro 6 level.
