President Prabowo's Special Envoy List Participates In His Duties And Salaries
YOGYAKARTA There are a number of big names filling the list of Presidential Special Envoys Prabowo Subianto, ranging from artist Raffi Ahmad, preacher Mitfah Maulana Habirrahman, to former Trade Minister Maria Elka Pangestu.
The figures and public figures who were included in the Envoy were sworn in by Prabowo at the State Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
Raffi Ahmad was asked by Prabowo to become the Presidential Special Envoy for Youth Generation Development and Artwork.
Meanwhile, Gus Miftah was appointed as the Presidential Special Envoy for Religious Harmony and the Development of Religious Facilities.

The duties of the Presidential Special Envoy are listed in Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 137 of 2024.
According to the regulation, the Presidential Special Envoy was formed to facilitate the duties of the President of the Republic of Indonesia.
Article 18 of the Presidential Regulation states that the Presidential Special Envoy has certain tasks given by the president outside of tasks that have been covered in the organizational structure of Ministries and other government agencies.
Next, the Presidential Special Envoy is responsible to the president and reports on the implementation of his duties to the Cabinet Secretary.
The report on the implementation of the Presidential Special Envoy's duties was coordinated by the Cabinet Secretary.
The Presidential Special Envoy's term of service is at the same time as the term of office or ends at the same time as the end of the presidential term in question.
President Prabowo's Special Envoy Salary
The provision of salaries for the Presidential Special envoy is regulated in Presidential Decree No. 137 of 2024 concerning Special Advisors to the President, Special Envoys to the President, Special Staff to the President, and Special Staff to the Vice President.
"Financial rights and other facilities for special presidential envoys are given at the highest level as ministerial positions," reads Article 22 of the Presidential Regulation, quoted by VOI, Wednesday, October 23, 2024.
Furthermore, according to Government Regulation (PP) Number 60 of 2000 concerning Amendments to Government Regulation Number 50 of1980 concerning Financial/Administrative Rights of State Ministers and former State Ministers and Widows/Dudanya As Has Been Changed Lastly with Government Regulation Number 18 of 1993, a minister is entitled to receive a basic salary of IDR 5,050,000 per month.
In addition to receiving the basic salary, the minister of state also received a position allowance as stated in Presidential Decree No. 68 of 2001 concerning Position Allowances for Certain State Officials. The amount of position allowance for ministers is IDR 13.608,000 per month.
In addition, the minister of state also received operational funds aimed at supporting strategic and special activities. This is in accordance with the Minister of Finance Regulation (Permenkeu Number 268/PMK.05/2014 concerning Procedures for Implementing the Operational Budget of the Minister/Institutional Leadership.
The percentage of operational funds of 80 percent is paid in a lump sum or at the same time to the minister. Meanwhile, the remaining 20 percent of operational funds are used to support other operational activities.
Based on PP Number 50 of 1980 concerning Financial/Administrative Rights of the Minister of State and the Former Minister of State and Widow/Dudanya, the minister of state is also entitled to receive benefits that apply to civil servants (PNS), other allowances based on laws and regulations, official vehicles, office houses, official travel costs, and health insurance.
Unlike the minister of state, the Presidential Special Envoy was not given a pension or pesangan. However, the Presidential Special Envoy received administrative support from the Cabinet Secretariat (Setkab).
