Arne Slot Ensures Liverpool's Key Players Are Not Disturbed By Rumors

JAKARTA - Liverpool's three key players, Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Mohamed Salah have their contracts completed later this season.

So far, only Van Dijk has confirmed that he is exploring new contract negotiations with the Reds.

However, the Dutchman is still throwing puzzles about his future at Anfield.

Apart from Van Dijk, Alexander-Arnold is also the target of questions regarding his future. You see, the right-back is rumored to be moving to Real Madrid.

The report prompted Arne Slot to say his players were not bothered by speculation about their future.

"I think you underestimate our players. These players are used to being associated with all top clubs every day, whether they have a contract or not," Slot said last week on ESPN.

"If you think they are disturbed by this interest, then you are unfair to how mentally strong they are," he said again.

Arne Slot insists his pillar players remain focused on giving the best for Liverpool.

"This is part of our work. It's part of the world we live in. You're just focused on what you have to do."

"Maybe if you were 17 or 18 years old, it could be difficult for you. However, Trent has won the league, the Champions League."

"Virgil and Mo Salah are the same. I don't think it's a problem for them to perform. That's what we see right now because they are playing very well," said Arne Slot.

Apart from Van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah has also been rumored to be leaving Anfield.

The Egyptian national team player has been linked with several wealthy Saudi Arabian clubs since last summer's transfer market.
