Three Water Channel Project Workers In Ciracas Buried In Landslides
JAKARTA - The water channel construction project carried out by a third party from the East Jakarta Water Resources Sub-Department (SDA) suddenly collapsed. Three workers were buried by landslides.
The incident occurred on Jalan Jambore, near SMP 147 Cibubur, Ciracas District, East Jakarta. The three workers who had been buried by landslides were finally successfully evacuated by other workers.
The three victims were also taken to the nearest hospital for treatment. As a result of the landslide incident due to the excavation of the water channel, along the 147 Cibubur Junior High School road, it is still closed. Access to residents' activities is isolated.
The Head of the DKI Jakarta BPBD, Isnawa Adji, has not responded to the landslide incident due to the water channel excavation project. He only admitted that he had coordinated with the local area, but the results were nil.
"As a result of coordination with the local sub-district head, there is no information (the landslide)," Isnawa said when confirmed, Tuesday, October 22.
Meanwhile, according to the information gathered, the three victims were buried by landslides while building a water channel and were underground. One worker fainted, two other workers were slightly injured.
Although there were already three workers who were victims of work accidents, the water channel construction project continued.
