Tito Instructs Bima Arya's Deputy Minister Of Home Affairs To Form A Decree On Monitoring Of The 2024 Pilkada
JAKARTA - Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian asked the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) Bima Arya to form "Desk Monitoring of the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections".
"For the short term, I ask to make the Pilkada Dec Monitoring on November 27," Tito said after welcoming two new deputy ministers at the Office of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Jakarta, Tuesday, October 22, which was confiscated by Antara.
According to him, the formation of this desk is so that the regional elections can be carried out properly.
For this reason, this requires coordination with the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Kemenko Polhukam) to the TNI/Polri.
"In the future, we will only think about the system including mass, tolerance, because one of the tasks of 'Polpum' (Directorate General of Politics and General Government) is to maintain, develop the values of diversity, Pancasila, national unity and integrity," he said.

"It is necessary to be proactive to provide maximum support to the system desired by President Jokowi and President Prabowo Subianto," said Tito.
He also asked Bima to coordinate with the Directorate General (Ditjen) of Politics and General Government (Polpum) regarding democracy, elections and elections.
