TANGERANG - A total of 22 students at SMPN 8 Setu, South Tangerang (Tangsel) were affected by the infectious disease of chickenpox. The school also made the decision to conduct distance learning (PJJ), online.
Acting Mayor of South Tangerang, Tabrani explained that the decision was made to prevent transmission of the disease.
"Anticipation from the school has been carried out by distance learning, so that transmission does not occur," said Tabrani when confirmed, Monday, October 21.
Tabrani also said that the South Tangerang Health Service (Dinkes) would examine the spread of the waterpox disease.
"An investigation is being carried out by the Health Office, maybe the results will be reported later," he said.
Furthermore, if the students at SMP 8 Tangsel within the next week have improved, face-to-face learning will be carried out again.
"We will monitor it for the next week, if it is seen that it has been completed, later we will return the distance learning as usual," he explained.
