Chairman Of The DPD RI Encourages Indonesian Government Through Prabowo Subianto To Global Level
JAKARTA - The chairman of the DPD RI, Sultan B. Najamudin, expressed his support for Prabowo Subianto, the elected presidential candidate in the 2024 General Election, who will become the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia. He hopes that Prabowo's leadership will be able to bring Indonesia more to play a role in the global arena.
According to Sultan, Indonesia currently has a strong foundation in the form of national unity and integrity. With this capital, he is optimistic that Prabowo can continue and strengthen President Joko Widodo's legacy, in order to make Indonesia bigger and more influential in the international world.
"We will encourage Mr. Prabowo to be more active on the global stage, so that Indonesia becomes a respected country and has a high bargaining position," said the Sultan at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, as quoted by Antara.
He added that over the past 10 years, President Joko Widodo's administration has left an important historical footprint, especially in infrastructure development. The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, continued Sultan, has laid the solid foundations for the progress of the nation.
"We can all see infrastructure developments such as roads, bridges, dams, and various other facilities. I am sure Pak Prabowo will continue and develop the achievements that have been initiated by Pak Jokowi," said Sultan.

This Sunday, the inauguration process for Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 period was held in Jakarta. This moment marks the peak of Indonesia's democratic journey and is a concern for the international community.
Sultan also explained that after being officially inaugurated, Prabowo would have the prerogative to determine the composition of his cabinet. The plan is that the announcement of the names of ministers and other high-ranking officials will be made at night after the inauguration.
"In the presidential system, executive power is completely under the control of the president," he stressed.
The oath of office will take place at the MPR RI Plenary Session at the Nusantara Building, Jakarta, and attended by 732 members of the MPR RI. National figures, leaders of political parties, and representatives of friendly countries were also present at the procession.
