Arriving At The Nusantara Building, Gibran Rakabuming Wears A Black Jas And Kopiah

JAKARTA - The elected Vice President, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, together with his wife, Selvi Ananda, arrived at the Nusantara Building, Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta, on Sunday morning at around 08.30 WIB.

Gibran arrived in his private car with the Army number plate and immediately stepped into the building. For the process of taking the oath of office which is scheduled to start at 10.00 WIB, Gibran is seen wearing a complete suit with a cloth wrapped around his waist, resembling traditional Betawi clothing.

On the other hand, Selvi Ananda appeared elegant in a bright red brocade, accompanying her husband for his inauguration as Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia.

Since 07.00 WIB, invited guests began arriving at the lobby of the Nusantara and Nusantara III Buildings. Some of the figures who have been seen present include the leaders of the MPR, DPR, and DPD, the former 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Jusuf Kalla ( 10th and 12th Presidents of the Republic of Indonesia), Titiek Suharto, candidates for the 2024 Presidential Election Anies Baswedan, Chairman of PKB Muhaimin Iskandar, and Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Chairman of the Democratic Party.

At 10.00 WIB, Gibran Rakabuming and Prabowo Subianto will take an oath of office at the MPR RI Plenary Session as President and Vice President for the 2024-2029 period. This procession was witnessed directly by 732 members of the MPR RI and attended by various national figures, leaders of political parties, as well as representatives from friendly countries.

The inauguration ceremony of Prabowo Gibran is also scheduled to be attended by around 20 officials at the head of state level and 18 ministerial-level officials. Several countries that have sent their delegations are Germany, Qatar, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, Papua New Guinea, Russia, Laos, Vietnam, Vanuatu, Brunei Darussalam, Timor Leste, Serbia, and China.

In addition, a number of other countries such as Cambodia, New Zealand, Solomon, Philippines, South Korea, Singapore, Egypt, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Britain, the United States, India, Jordan, Japan, Italy, Canada, France, Brazil, and Fiji also sent representatives to attend this important moment.
