Indonesian League 1 Results: Arema FC Comeback Tekuk Malut With A Score Of 3-1

JAKARTA Arema FC secured three points when they hosted North Maluku United in the eighth week of the 2024/2025 Indonesian League 1 match.

The duel between the two teams which took place at the Soepriadi Stadium, Blitar City, on Saturday, October 19, 2024 evening WIB, ended with a score of 3-1 for Singo Edan.

In this duel, North Maluku actually took the lead five minutes before the break. The visitors' lead was scored by Yakob Sayuri.

William Moreira da Silva Marctenlio then scored the equalizer just six minutes after they returned from the dressing room.

He used Dalberto's pass.

Ten minutes before the match's normal time is over, it was Dalberto's turn to put his name on the scoreboard to put Singo Edan in charge of their opponents.

Arema then widened the distance between goals with their opponents during injury time 90+1. Wiliam Moreira scored again to lock the brace in this match.

This result temporarily made Arema move up to eighth in the standings. They have collected a total of 12 points thanks to three wins and three draws so far.

Meanwhile, without bringing points, Malut is now sitting in 11th position with nine points. This is their third defeat this season.

In the ninth week, Arema will return to play at home to face Persija Jakarta, while North Maluku will host their enemy Barito Putera.
