Trial Of Two Cases Of Rizieq Shihab Held Today, Determination Of Continuing Or Not

JAKARTA - The East Jakarta District Court held another trial involving Rizieq Shihab on Tuesday, April 6. The trial continued with the agenda of interlocutory decisions.

"Interim decisions for cases number 221, 222, and 226," East Jakarta District Court Public Relations Alex Adam Faisal told VOI, Tuesday, April 6.

The trial with this interim decision agenda means that the panel of judges will decide whether or not the trial will proceed. If it is decided that the trial will continue, then the case will enter the stage of witness examination.

For the three cases, among others, case number 221 / Pid.B / 2021 / PN.Jkt.Tim regarding alleged violations of health quarantine which resulted in crowds in Petamburan, Central Jakarta. Rizieq Shihab is the defendant in this case.

Then, the case Number 222 / Pid.B / 2021 / PN.Jkt Tim was a crowd case in Petamburan, Central Jakarta. However, the defendants in this case were five former FPI officials, Haris Ubaidillah, Maman Suryadi, Ahmad Sobri Lubis, Habib Idrus, and Muhammad Hanif Alatas.

Meanwhile, case number 226 / Pid.B / 2021 / PN.Jkt.Tim is an alleged crowd violation in Megamendung. In this case, Rizieq Shihab is the defendant.

"The trial is planned to be held at 09.00 WIB," he said.
