Pontianak Provides Ease Of Business For MSMEs Players In 2021 To Boost The Economy
JAKARTA - The Pontianak City Government, West Kalimantan Province, encourages economic growth by providing various facilities for business licenses to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the area.
"We are currently trying to ease the burden on society during the COVID-19 pandemic through various programs, including providing convenience to MSME players, providing capital with low interest, and facilitating requirements," said Deputy Mayor of Pontianak Bahasan, S.H after reading the Mayor of Pontianak's speech. on the submission of 10 draft regional regulations in the Pontianak City DPRD Plenary Meeting Room, reported by Antara, Tuesday, April 6.
He explained the various conveniences, the goal is to revive economic growth and increase regional income.
The Pontianak City Government's efforts in encouraging MSMEs to rise again in the era of adapting to new habits, among others, allow businesses to reopen their businesses while still applying health protocols.
"Several businesses have started their activities such as coffee shops, restaurants, restaurants, hotels, wedding organizers, parks, and so on. This step is an effort to encourage MSMEs to be enthusiastic again but still pay attention to health protocols to be safe from COVID-19", he said.
He adds other efforts by providing convenience in-licensing and incentives to accelerating licensing services.
"As for capital, we will cooperate with banks so that they can provide relief for them", he said.
Regarding the 10 draft regional regulations proposed to be submitted to the legislature, Bahasan hopes that it can be discussed on time and get approval.
According to him, 10 draft regional regulations are needed in running the government.
A total of 10 draft regional regulations are proposed, namely the Raperda on Development of Food Security, Waste Management, Amendments to Regional Regulation Number 7 of 2016 concerning the Formation and Composition of Regional Apparatus, Prevention and Control of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), and Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), Character Education and Akhlak Mulia, Financial Assistance for Political Parties, Amendments to Regional Regulation Number 3 of 2020 concerning the Khatulistiwa Pontianak Regional Public Credit Bank (BPR), Amendments to Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2020 concerning Additional Capital Participation of the Pontianak City Government in the Regional Public Company BPR Khatulistiwa Pontianak, Drinking Water Services for the Tirta Khatulistiwa Regional Public Company and the fourth Amendment to Regional Regulation Number 7 of 2014 concerning Additional Equity in Perumda Air Minum Tirta Khatulistiwa.
Regarding the draft local regulation on equity participation in Perumda Air Minum Tirta Khatulistiwa and Perumda BPR Khatulistiwa Pontianak, he thinks it aims to optimize Regional Original Income (PAD).
"Capital participation in PDAM and BPR Khatulistiwa Pontianak is expected to maximize PAD affected by the pandemic", he said.
