David Beckham Supports Sir Jim Ratcliffe To Bring Change To Manchester United
JAKARTA - David Beckham supports the minority owner of Manchester United's stock, Sir Jim Radcliffe, to bring about the changes the Red Devils need.
However, Bechkam also admitted that Manchester United needed time to return to the top level.
"So, hopefully, things will change, but these things take time. I think we've been quite patient as Manchester United fans for years."
"However, we want those beautiful days back. We want those days back, and the sooner the better," said Beckham.
The Red Devils have not won the Premier League title since Beckham's former manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, retired in 2013.

Last season, Manchester United set a record finish in the worst Premier League, in eighth place.
As a first step, the sports structure at Manchester United has been overhauled under Radcliffe since becoming the owner of the stock minority in February 2024.
Beckham said the initial change was really needed by the team.
"I think it really needs to be changed. Speaking as a Manchester United fan, I think a lot of people say the club needs to change."
"We need a new perspective on how this club needs to be implemented and the decisions made."
"I really like Jim (Ratcliffe). I've met him several times over the years with some friends."
"I think he's a Manchester United fan and he's definitely also a great businessman, one of the best and one of the biggest."
"However, I think what's more important is that fans see that he cares. I think it's a big part."
"I think it's clear that fans have lost faith in leadership over the years."
"Obviously, he (Ratcliffe) really cares about what he wants to do and what he wants to create," Beckham said on the Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast.
Meanwhile, Manchester United continues to struggle this season. They again set a bad record for the start of the season.
The eight-point gain of seven Premier League games is the worst record in 35 years.
This result is certainly not expected given the many funds spent by Manchester United in the summer transfer market.
Beckham did not escape the question of the Red Devils transfer maneuver which was deemed ineffective.
"I think one of the things I learned during my years as a boss is not about bringing in the biggest and best players, it's about bringing in the right players."
"If you can bring in the best and greatest players, it has to be the right player," Beckham said again.
The owner of Major League Soccer club, Inter Miami, compared Manchester United with his team's recruitment.
Beckham has enjoyed much greater success with Inter Miami. They claim Supporters' Shield as MLS' best regular season team and broke a record all the time for the most points in a season.
Inter Miami is led by Argentine great player Lionel Messi. Beckham said he took some inspiration from Ferguson when he brought the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner to Inter Miami last year.
"There aren't many players like that, but with Leo (Messi), we knew we would sign him."
"I know that, yes, he will succeed on the pitch. I also know that he will help our club off the pitch," Beckham said again.
