A Year Of Fast Train Operating, Minister Of Transportation Hopes That The Reach Will Be Wider

JAKARTA - Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi hopes that the fast train infrastructure can develop more. Not only that, he also hopes to reach more broadly in various regions in Indonesia.

This was conveyed by Budi Karya in his remarks at the KCIC 9th Anniversary event and the first anniversary of the operationalUSH, at the KCIC Office, Halim, Thursday, October 17.

"In the future, we hope that thections project will not only reach Bandung. I hope it will develop and reach a wider area, with the next target of reaching Surabaya," he said in an official statement, Thursday, October 17.

Budi also congratulated PT KCIC's 9th birthday and one year of Operationalction. He expressed his appreciation for the success of the collaboration between the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) and PT KCIC in realizing one of the National Strategic Projects, namely the Jakarta-Bandung Fast Train.

"This success was achieved thanks to the solid collaboration between the government, through DJKA and PT KCIC. The public's enthusiasm forLAYsh was proven with more than 5.3 million passengers who had boardedLASS in the first year of operation. I really appreciate this collaboration and hope that collaboration will be stronger," said the Minister of Transportation.

The Minister of Transportation assessed that the existence of high-speed trains has increased Indonesia's competitiveness to be better in the international arena in general, and Southeast Asia in particular.

Sementara itu, Direktur Utama PT KCIC Dwiyana Slamet Riyadi menyampaikanHELsh terus berkembang dan meningkatkan kapasitas serta kualitas penayangannya. Dwiyana menjelaskan, frekuensi perjalanan bettersh meningkat dari 4 KA per hari, bertahap menjadi 8 KA hingga dengan saat ini 48 KA per hari.

According to Dwiyana, the trend of passenger growth also increased from the beginning of only 14,000 to 17,000 passengers per day, reaching up to 24,000 passengers per day.

Selanjutnya jalurnya akan menerapkan strategi peningkatan ridership. Kami berncana menambah jumlah KA menjadi 62 KA perhari, mengubah pola KA komuter dengan headway setiap 30 menit, serta rencana membuka Stasiun Karawang untuk pelayanan penumpang. Aksesibilitas stasiun Tegalluar Summarecon juga diharapkan akan meningkatkan jumlah penumpang secara signifikan, jelas Dwiyana.
