Dozens Of Runner Communities Join The Jakarta Running Festival 2024

JAKARTA - Running sports are slightly different from other types of individual sports. The type of sport that is increasingly in demand as a lifestyle is currently developing into social activities that connect people with similar interests, aka communities.

Running together in the community not only increases motivation, but also fosters a sense of togetherness. In the running group, every step taken feels lighter because of collective support. Community members can remind each other to stay consistent in practicing, even when feeling lazy or tired of hitting.

In this case, the Jakarta Running Festival 2024 collaborates with the male care brand Kahf, successfully uniting various runners communities from various circles through the Kafh Community Race. This activity brings together professional runners, public figures, and running communities to compete and strengthen relationships through sports.

Kahf Community Race: Jakarta Running Festival 2024 is a team competition that aims to build a spirit of collaboration and solidarity among runners. In this competition format, each community has the opportunity to work together in a small group to complete the marathon and half marathon challenges.

Some of the running communities involved include 910 Jakarta Runners, C8 Runners, Cause Freedom, Derby Runners, Keluarga Cemara, Runaway Lampung, Social Run Indonesia, Tangerang Crazy Runners, and Thunder Light Jakarta.

Each team consists of three representatives who try to record the best cumulative time. The team with the fastest total time will be declared the winner.

According to Billy Dharmawan, Kahf Brand Manager, this competition is designed not only to emphasize the aspect of speed, but also to foster togetherness and synergy among the participants. He expressed his hope that this event will be a moment where runners from various communities can support and interact.

In addition to competitions, this event was also enlivened by the participation of several public figures such as Ricky Harun, Ditto Percussion, Ibnu Jamil, Daffa Wardhana, and Kris Wahyudi.

Some of them are known to be active in international running activities, such as the Berlin Marathon, and will now participate in the Jakarta Running Festival.

On the other hand, several professional runners such as Jauhari Johan, Immanuel Hutasoit, Betmen Manurung, Rikki Marthin, Hamdan, and Tedjo also took part as festival participants.

There are also several additional activities, such as free photobooth for participants to capture moments and face wash corners to refresh themselves after running. Thus, this festival is not only about competition, but also about meaningful shared experiences.

With this festival taking place, participants are expected to experience running not only sports activities, but also facilities to build connections and collaboration.

Ditto Percussion, one of the public figures who participated, said that running was about traveling together, not just reaching the end line. Through activities like this, it is hoped that the spirit of togetherness will continue to grow and be an inspiration for the running community in Indonesia.
