KARAWANG - The Densus 88 team at the National Police Headquarters confiscated two boxes containing books about radicalism and terrorism in Indonesia during a house search at the Klari Regency Housing, Karawang Regency, West Java.

"It is true that there is a house in this housing that was ransacked by Densus 88 Police Headquarters on Saturday (3/4) yesterday," said Ngafif (29), a local resident who is also the head of the DKM in the housing complex. Quoted by Antara, Monday, April 5.

The house was said to be a temporary shelter by a Karawang resident who was suspected of being involved in a terrorist network, with the initials LN (35).

"We are only asked to accompany us to witness the inspection and search from outside the house (in front of the suspected terrorist's house), which can be seen only books stored in two large boxes brought by the Densus Team," continued Ngafif.

According to him, there were files belonging to LN that were carried in the folder. However, Ngafif did not know for sure the type of file that was seized.

Ngafif, together with the local ward leader, admitted that a number of fully armed personnel from the Police Densus 88 Team were asked to witness the inspection and search of the house.
