JAKARTA - Huawei Cloud Indonesia held a discussion on the Industrial Panel with the theme Empowering Fintech with Cloud to advance the Indonesian fintech industry in line with the country's dream to become the center of the global economy in 2045.
Through this discussion, Huawei Cloud facilitates the main players of the fintech industry to dive deeper in innovative ways to understand how technology can empower the fintech business to stay ahead in the growing industry.
Satrio Nugroho, Deputy Director of Financial Sector Technology Innovation Development, Digital Financial Assets and Crypto Assets (IAKD), Financial Services Authority (OJK) said that the OJK continues to encourage the development and strengthening of the Digital Financial Innovation industry in line with the Roadmap for the Development and Strengthening of IAKD Financial Sector Technology Innovation 2024-2028.
Digital transformation is expected to be able to answer challenges in increasing financial inclusion by connecting technological innovation with people's real needs and opening up wider economic opportunities for all levels, said Satrio.
Therefore, according to him, collaboration and synergy of various parties are needed, especially to encourage technological innovation and literacy that is useful for creating an inclusive, sustainable digital financial ecosystem and supporting national economic growth.
During the discussion, Huawei introduced a variety of holistic innovations and cloud solutions, to lay the basic infrastructure for the fintech industry.
