DENPASAR - A male foreign national (WNA) from India named Pradeep Kumar Xplorer was arrested by Satpol PP (Public Order Enforcers) Denpasar, Bali, for extort a shop customer on Sudirman Street, Denpasar, Bali.
Currently, the foreign national from India is being held at the Satpol PP office and is being investigated. He was picked up after the shop's customers complained of extorting. It turned out that Pradeep Kumar also ate without paying.
"Yes, an Indian citizen. According to information that owns a shop and the community, they often commit disrespectful actions, often extort visitors to the stall, and often eat without paying", said Denpasar City Satpol PP Head I Dewa Gede Anom Sayoga when contacted, Monday, April 5.
From the information gathered by Satpol PP, Pradeep Kumar often appears at the location. Because of this, the Satpol PP asked the shop owner to report when Pradeep Kumar was at the location.
"We have received this report a few days ago, but we came late to the location. I ask for help from the shop owner to call if the person comes again. "Just now the shop owner called because the man came. According to the shop owner, he often extorted money from visitors", he said.
Currently, Satpol PP is still conducting investigations on these foreigners. Checked about passport ownership and since when have you lived in Bali.
"We are checking whether the passport is there or not, when will it be in Bali. We are still investigating it first. If it is true this is a criminal act. We will consult immigration and the consulate", said Sayoga.
