Held The Case, Central Java Police Have Not Yet Determined The Suspect Of PPDS Undip Bullying
Central Java Police have postponed the determination of a suspect in the alleged bullying case at the Specialist Doctors Education Program (PPDS) of the Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University (Undip) Semarang.
The Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes Artanto, said investigators from the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation had carried out a case title led directly by the Director of Kombes Johanson Simamora.
"The title of the case was also attended by experts, the Bureau of Investigation Supervision, and the Directorate of General Crimes," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 15.
From the results of the case title, he continued, it was decided that it was still necessary to investigate the case.
Kombes Artanto said there were several requirements that investigators had to investigate to determine the suspect.
According to him, investigators still have to explore the results of the case title and must be careful in determining the suspect.
"Investigators are careful, the principle of presumption of innocence must be fulfilled," he said.
In investigating this case, the police have sent a notification letter for the start of the investigation (SPDP) to the prosecutor's office, although they have not yet named a suspect.
The police, according to him, have raised the status of the case from investigation to investigation since October 7, 2024.
Kombes Artanto ensured that the police accelerated the handling of the case by always paying attention to the precautionary principle.

The death of the victim with the initials AR, which was found on August 12, 2024, is suspected to be related to bullying where he studied.
The AR family has reported the alleged bullying to the Central Java Police on September 4, 2024.
