Two Fire Victims In Tambora, West Jakarta, Found Near A Bath
JAKARTA Fires dozens of houses on Jalan Kalianyar IV RT/RW 11/02 Kalianyar, Tambora, West Jakarta in the early hours of Tuesday, leaving deep sorrow. Moreover, officers found the bodies of two brothers hugging.
Brothers, Asgar (13) and Yoka (12) died hugging in the bathroom.
"He hugged each other, the younger brother, near the bathtub," said RW 02 Head Kalianyar Suwardi to reporters at the location.
Meanwhile, their mother, Aryanti (40) was found dead in front of the bathroom door.
"The condition is that the two of them are in the bathroom, the Asgar and his younger brother, Yoka. Meanwhile, Aryanti's mother is outside, in front of the bathroom door. The bathroom is downstairs or 1st floor," said Suwardi.
Suwardi became a representative of residents who entered with the Indonesia Automatic Finger Identification System (INAFIS) to the location of the mother's house and two children who died to check the crime scene.
"Yes, because I was asked to provide assistance," said Suwardi.
At the location, the house with three dead victims was still fitted with a police line. The walls of the house were collapsed by the fire and the inside of the house and charred furniture.
There are at least two gas cylinders in the house that also appear to be scattered by the flames.
Head of the Operations Section of the West Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat), Syarifudin, said that the fire was suspected to have occurred due to a gas cylinder leak.
"It is suspected that it was due to a gas leak," said Syarif when confirmed in Jakarta, Tuesday.
