Central Java Police Have Pocketed Potential Suspects Of Alleged Bullying At Undip Semarang

Central Java Police have pocketed the names of potential suspects in the alleged bullying case at the Specialist Doctors Education Program (PPDS) of the Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University (Undip) Semarang.

"This morning the Ditreskrimum investigators will carry out a case title to determine the suspect in this case," said Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes Artanto in Semarang, Antara, Tuesday, October 15.

According to him, the investigation of the case has been investigated since October 7, 2024, but Artanto has not been able to reveal the number of suspects to be determined.

Until now, investigators have examined 48 witnesses, both from senior and junior doctorates in the education program.

"Later, after the case will be submitted directly by the director of general criminal investigation," he said.

Previously, a PPDS student at the Faculty of Medicine, Undip Semarang, died suspected of committing suicide at his boarding house, Lempongsari Street, Semarang City, Central Java.

The death of the victim with the initials AR, which was found on August 12, 2024, is suspected to be related to bullying where he studied.

The AR family has reported the alleged bullying to the Central Java Police on September 4, 2024.
