Vice President Ma'ruf Hopes That The Prabowo-Gibran Government Continues Development Arrears

JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin hopes that the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government can continue the milestones of development that have been carried out by the current government.

"We hope that the upcoming government will not start from the beginning. Moreover, Pak Prabowo's motto (Subianto) will continue," said Ma'ruf giving a press statement after the groundbreaking for the construction of mosques and Islamic boarding schools in Rawagede, Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency, West Java, Antara, Sunday, October 13.

He gave an example of the milestones that the current government has built, from infrastructure to the economy.

"Continuing that, there are already arrears that have been built, yes, the economy, infrastructure, human resources," said the Vice President.

For this reason, he also hopes that the Prabowo-Gibran government can maximize the strong foundations that have been generated from the current government.

"I think with us wanting to do something new, the milestone already exists. The arrears already exist, it's just a matter of how to maximize it and fill in what hasn't been there yet," he said.

At the end of his statement, the Vice President also hoped that the process of changing national leadership could run smoothly and the political situation remained conducive.

According to him, political stability is a key factor for the smooth running of the new government in implementing its programs.

"In my opinion, in the future, if there is no situation, the condition is good, it (the new government) will move faster, and that's what I hope. That political stability, this situation, so that it is safe. If it is not safe then it cannot be carried out (the government program)," he said.
