Ubaidillah Ran Aground In The Semifinals, Indonesia's Remaining One In The 2024 Junior World Championships
JAKARTA - Indonesian men's singles, Mohammad Zaki Ubaidillah did not succeed in advancing to the 2024 Junior World Championship final after losing in the semifinals.
In the match which took place at the Nanchang International Sports Center Gymnasium, Saturday, October 12, 2024, Ubaidillah lost to the host's representative, Wang Zi Jun, two direct sets 19-21 and 20-22.
Thus, Ubed, Ubaidillah's greeting, only contributed a bronze medal for Indonesia.
Ubed actually had a chance to win the game. He always took the lead early on, in the first and second games.
However, going into the final half of the match, the opponent is able to catch up and turn things around. Ubed regretted this.

"So, I made a lot of mistakes myself and wanted to quickly turn off my opponent. In fact, in terms of game patterns, I already know what to apply."
"On the other hand, the opponent plays neatly and doesn't make much mistakes himself," said Ubed on the PBSI website.
Even though he lost, Ubed was still grateful for his achievements. He was determined to continue to improve performance.
"I'm still grateful to be here, I can get a medal. However, I'm not satisfied yet," said this Anthony Sinisuka Ginting fan.
"From my first Junior World Championship, there is a lot that must be improved from a physical and technical perspective," he said again.
Ubed still has one more chance to appear at the junior level next year.

Isyana/Rinjani will meet Ririna Badmintono/Aya Tamaki from Japan this afternoon.
During the 2024 Suhandinata Cup semifinals last week, the two pairs met which was won by Isyana Rinjani 66-59 (11-8).
