Anies Is Waiting For Airlangga Hartarto's Blessing To Implement SIKM During The Eid Holiday Season
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has not yet decided to re-apply the Entry and Exit Permit (SIKM) as a travel restriction.
"(SIKM) We are still waiting. Yesterday afternoon, there was a coordination meeting chaired by the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, including discussing regulations regarding population mobility activities during the Eid holiday season", said Anies, Sunday, April 4.
Anies admits that he is still waiting for a decision from the Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Chairman of the Committee for Handling COVID-19 and National Economic Recovery (KCP-PEN) Airlangga Hartarto regarding the re-implementation of SIKM.
"Well, we in Jakarta will wait until there is a provision from the central government, then we will adjust it later", he said.
Previously, SIKM was implemented during the Lebaran 2020 season, when DKI was implementing PSBB. Those who do not have an exit-entry permit (SIKM) will not be allowed to cross and will be asked to return to their place of origin.
SIKM can only be issued by the DKI Provincial Government via the corona.jakarta.go.id website. Before administering SIKM, every person or business actor must prepare several requirements.
The details are a cover letter from the head of the local RT (Neighborhood Association), a health statement letter, a certificate of official travel or working outside the region, or a certificate of having a business for entrepreneurs.
Meanwhile, there are additional requirements for everyone outside Jabodetabek (Jakarta areas) who will enter Jakarta. The additional requirement is to have a travel certificate from the sub-district or village in the area of origin and a stamped guarantee letter from the family or RT to be the destination in Jakarta.
If the application for requirements is declared complete, DPM and One-Stop Integrated Service can issue SIKM electronically in the form of a QR code.
Every person or business actor who makes fake letters, manipulates information and/or electronic documents, falsifies letters, or makes false information to administer SIKM will be subject to criminal sanctions by the provisions of laws and regulations.
