Jokowi Inaugurates Hermina Hospital At IKN: Like Hotel Bintang Lima, I Price The Speed Of Development

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated the Hermina Nusantara Hospital in the capital city of Nusantara, East Kalimantan, on Friday, October 11, 2024.

Prior to the inauguration of Hermina Hospital, Jokowi had time to review hospital facilities.

Jokowi said that Hermina Hospital in IKN has the interior of the hospital he has seen.

"Like a 5-star hotel and I also really appreciate the speed of development from the Hermina Hospital," Jokowi said as monitored on the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube, Friday, October 11.

It is known, the construction of the Hermina Hospital took 10 months.

The groundbreaking procession was carried out by Jokowi on November 1, 2023.

The investment disbursed for the construction of the Hermina Nusantara Hospital reached Rp650 billion.

This eight-story hospital has an area of 28,000 square meters and stands on an area of 20,718 square meters.

Jokowi hopes that the opening of the Hermina Hospital can encourage the development of an ecosystem in IKN. The President said that apart from hospitals, apartments and offices were already completed in the near future.

"Within approximately 10 months (development) and now we can operate to accept patients, we are also ready because there were already three patients being treated," said Jokowi.

"This will give confidence to the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) which we will immediately transfer to IKN," he continued.
