JAKARTA - After changing the company's logo from gem to lotus leaf, Permata Bank is now launching a new name from its mobile banking application, which was originally called PermataMobile X, to Permata ME.

Not only changing the name of the application, Permata Bank also brings many new upgrades and features into its mobile application, which now has a more modern design or interface.

Consumer Banking Director of Permata Bank, Djumariah Tenteram revealed that the launch of Permata ME with its face and new name was part of Permata Bank's alignment effort after changing the company's logo on September 27 yesterday.

"At the same time, we also make a commitment with this new Permata ME to continue to enforce security, to ensure that these customers and customers feel safe," Mariah said at the launch of Permata ME on Thursday, October 10 in Jakarta.

Djumariah revealed that there are four new improvements that are present in the Permata ME application, such as a more modern design, faster performance, adding new features, and also improving cybersecurity.

Furthermore, related to Permata ME's new feature, Bank Riga Sunkara's Digital Head Channel Division said that this new application comes with features that provide easy access for users.

There are some that we simplify, including the purchase or sale of foreign currencies. Customers can directly use the purchase and sale of 13 foreign currencies, "explained Riga.

In addition, users can now make payments using QR codes abroad such as Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand through the Permata ME application.

Meanwhile, in terms of design, Permata Bank provides quick access to users who want to view balances or make payments with direct QR, without having to login first.

"Then, for example, if I come to the branch, we can immediately take the queue at the mobile banking. So without having to come to the branch to ask for another queue number," he concluded.

In terms of security, the same as the majority of other mobile banking, Permata ME uses fingerprint biometric logins and face recognition. In addition, users are also required to enter PIN before making a transaction.
